Malaysia’s favourite footwear brand Nelissa Hilman is honoured to present the studio’s first line of sustainable apparel. As part of the brand’s emphasis on sustainability and innovation, designer and clothing manufacturer “Shao Fen” collaborates with the brand to rework and reimagine their first ready-to-wear line in a limited edition collection.
SHAOFEN Design Studio’s “Shao Fen” is the first guest designer in this series. Shao Fen’s interpretation of their current range of ready-to-wear necessities, which takes inspiration from their studio’s rules, pays homage to her personal qualities while injecting some fun into urban chic and making tailored essentials seem more laid-back than formal.
Dresses, skirts, and sweaters are mixed and matched in this collaboration to create a unique wearable experience. Shao Fen was encouraged to explore with diverse patterns and combinations of materials to create clothing that fit and flatter the body, thanks to Shao Fen’s clever use of colour blocking and material mix-and-matching. The scuba-fitted jacket, together with the unisex colour- and material-blocked short- and long-sleeve shirts, shorts, and mini-draped skirt, are the collection’s highlights from SHAOFEN x Nelissa Hilman.
Cut-and-sewn in two sizes, the limited and made-to-order collection will be made available in S/M and L/XL. Priced between RM250 and RM450, the collection will be made available at their Bangsar store as well as online on www.nelissahilman.com. The collection will be available for order until 15th January 2024.
